This is a great shop and excellent repair workshop. I left my clarinet to do a Level 2 service and they did a first class job! It has never played as good as now. I can't really recommend this workshop enough. They are now my first choice for repairs, maintenance and instrument advice. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Great job! Thank you.

Brought in an old acoustic I hadn’t touched in years for a set up - upbowed neck, action was comically high (both the guys in the shop who saw it made bow & arrow gestures lol). Really quick turnaround time. Very reasonably priced. Nice, friendly bunch of guys.

Visited Hillsound for the first time yesterday and glad I chose to support my local store and not buy online. Great to find a proper Music store where you can buy the bits and pieces you need including just one string!

We was recommended by my daughters guitar teacher to visit Hillsound music store to buy her first electric guitar. Andy was so helpful on helping us pick a guitar and everything we needed for setup. We had previously decided on a starter pack online but the advice and ability to test the guitar before buying was invaluable. The whole process was so easy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend others to do the same. Online shopping often seems easy but you do not get this level of customer service experience and help. The store was a hive of activity and the staff always attentive to all. The prices were also on par with online. But the service was worth its weight in gold

Very honest person, he could easily charge me £50 to £80 pounds for fixing my saxophone and I was ready to pay, but he said there is nothing wrong in saxophone, I just need more practice 😂😂. And didn’t charge me anything even he spent time to check my saxophone. Thanks you

Attended this establishment to purchase a ukulele. At 73 years of age I had never played a stringed instrument before and fancied giving it a try. The staff were so helpful and friendly and explained all that I wanted to know. Really good experience being served by people who know what they are talking about.

I recently purchased a Cort AP550M Parlour Guitar, And was amazed by the build quality and set up.
My son also loves it, so I may have to purchase another soon!
Cheapest on line price too, well packaged and delivered quickly!

Great service for my old Dan Electro electric guitar here. They listened carefully and understood that, as my rehearsal guitar, I did not want to spend full whack on fixing all of its problems so they talked me through the options. Even though I didn't get everything done it still sounds ace and intunation and electrical issues all fixed! Thanks guys
