Fantastic shop, we needed a first drum kit for our 8yr old girl and all the staff were brilliant. Very knowledgeable and just really friendly. Made her feel at ease and showed her the merits of a very good electric kit (which she wasn’t keen on before the visit). Now we can still look our neighbours in the eye but also have a very happy 8yr old.

Top notch. Carl and the team have an absolute gem of an operation here. Such a broad mix of product, from sweet high value entry level axes to proper wish list dream guitars - there’s a lot going on. Technical help, chats about finding the right tone, advice on 2nd hand stuff, the team here really are ace. There’s no way I’d be confident switching in a pair of Seymour Duncan’s without their help 👍👍

I bought a Squire bass here for my wife's birthday as she was insistent she was going to learn to play, but they sent her a regular six string guitar instead. She didn't know the difference (😔 I knew she wasn't going to use it anyway, whatever they sent her), but luckily never opened the box. I was working abroad at the time and when I came back, about 6 months later, I took the guitar back. The shop replaced it once I spoke to the owner, the guy I spoke to before him was a bit hopeless. Nothing but good things to say otherwise, the shop is well stocked, not wildly expensive, and they know their stuff. Recommended.

Amazing venue with charm and character, very friendly staff and amazing studio spaces as well. I feel like I'm writing my life story by being there. Lovely community of talented musicians there also.

Had a last minute dash to Rockbottom before a gig to get new cables. It was such a relief to be able to buy from a local shop. Also I found the amount of equipment in there intriguing so next time I'll have a look around as well.
