I took my wife’s violin into Terry at alley cats for a referb for a mother’s day surprise and she was absolutely thrilled with the result.

Terry is extremely knowledgable and completes work to a very high standard for a fair and reasonable price.

I had a fantastic experience with Terry @ Alley Cats Violin. I had taken some violins down for repairs and found him very amiable and helpful. He's got a range to violins for sale. Many of which I tried out personally and they sounded great. Repairs were not expensive at all. Payment is by cash. Grab yourself some very good bargain on high quality violins, cellos and bows. Parking is on street and free for 2 hours.

Just purchased a second hand violin from Terry, who was friendly and very knowledgeable. His workshop looks like a real Aladdin's Cave for instruments and I have no doubt I will visit him again.

I can thoroughly recommend Terry at Alley Cats for anything violin related. He is incredibly knowledgeable but explains things very well and leaves you in no doubt your pride and joy is in safe hands. Terry kept me informed of what work was being carried out and was quick and excellent value. My violin has never been in better fettle!

Needed bridge lowering on double bass, took it to Terry, expecting to leave it, and he did it while l waited. Delighted with service and craftsmanship. Will not be going anywhere else.

Great experience dealing with Terry. Just restored my violin guiding me through all the work that was needed. I even got to see inside the instrument as he wanted to show the condition and not do any repairs or restoration that was unnecessary. All the work done was to an exceptionally high standard and at a very fair price. I can highly recommend.

I visited Terry today, with my cello asking for advice about it's value
and any necessary restoration. He is really friendly, knowledgable and professional. He has give me some really valuable and what I think is sound advice. I didn't feel rushed he is was very thorough. If you need help with a string instrument I would recommend contacting him.
