I can't fault the service that I had when trying violas and buying one here recently. As a professional violinist/viola player for many years, I will definitely be recommending this place to colleagues and pupils. The workshop technicians also made helpful suggestions and were happy to do adjustments as requested.

If you're buying an instrument, their prices reflect the quality - they don't do cheap! Aftercare and repairs etc are competitive prices and again, top quality.

I couldn't bring my own violin from the United States, so I bought a temporary one from Amazon. When I saw this store in Stone, I wished I lived here so they could make repairs on the violin I just purchased - small crack, but sounds phenomenal! They were kind enough to allow me to look around...and miss my violin at home.

Very knowledgeable and also very helpful generally. Allowed us to take as long as we needed, including providing coffee after we had been there an hour and a half already.

I called in advance and made an appointment to take in my viola with a view to part exchanging it for a cello. The staff were very professional, polite and knowledgeable and I was very happy to leave with a wonderful cello. I had a look at a couple of instruments and heard the difference between the two and also got recommendations for teachers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to any string players.

They correctly identified my violin and showed good interest in what is only a lowly instrument to them. Nice clean and personable shop.

Absolutely 5 stars. Their customer service has been exemplary from start to finish, listening to my preferences and making adjustments to cellos and suggestions to help guide me. Every requirement was catered for without any fuss.

Went in for advice and ended up with a lovely spare violin to use when I don't wish to expose my fine violin to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune! Very courteous and expert. I left having felt valued and having had a good deal. I will go again for sure.
