Made an impromptu visit to get some advice on servicing my sax and to look at a few alternatives for when I'm thinking of upgrading. I was utterly blown away by the personal level of help and time Alice gave me, especially given I dropped in unannounced! She was absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable and I really appreciated all of her friendly, honest and helpful advice - she was also especially patient was with all the questions I had! The fact I was able to try a few different models in one of the practice rooms and explore them at my own pace really helped me understand the difference between the instruments I was looking at and get a better feel for them, so thank you for that. It's safe to say I'll be back to make a (probably way too extravagant) purchase in the very near future and feel happy that I'll be in very safe hands when I do 😁. Thank you!

I bought a trombone in May and since then only problems , after 30 days from the date of purchase they gave me the wrong trombone , I sent it back in the same week and so far I didn't received my trombone , 4 months waiting , I lost my music test because of this delay and I haven't had no kind of help or support from John Packer , definitely I don't recommend and will not spend one cent with this company anymore , completely dispointed !

This is my go-to retailer for anything saxophone-related. They have a good selection of instruments and accessories and their customer service is brilliant. They provide a fantastic 'approval' service allowing you to test out new instruments and mouthpieces which would otherwise be a complete stab in the dark, and their prices are very competitive. Delivery is also quick and painless. I couldn’t rate them highly enough

We purchased an ex demo item. The case was in extremely poor condition. Dirty with worn velcro meaning the handle did not work. Although the instrument was ex demo we expected a clean and functional case to be sent. I contacted John Packer to ask for a replacement case as my son was embarrassed to take the case to school. I was told I could purchase a new case at a discount! Very poor customer service and suggest embarrassing not to offer a replacement case given the cost of the item.

If nothing else, its a superb customer service. I bought a JP Euphonium 374t model which arrived damaged but it was not noticeable. It all started with valves not working well and slides not sliding properly. Only after i noticed a bend on the inside of the bell and valve action started getting worse i thought something might have been wrong to begin with.

After sending the instrument back initially i have been told that i should have reported this sooner as 2.5 months have passed since. After i sent the instrument back they paid for shipping and after inspection, concluded that it was damaged when delivering.

Gladly in the end they sent me a replacement although they could have as easily just send me back the same Euphonium which they fixed.

Dealing with this matter might have been stressful but their customer service was on my side all along which i can not praise enough. Not to mention that they went out of the corporate way of me not reporting this in time and still supplying me with a replacement which is without problems

Superb instruments, backed by superb customer service which is would recommend just for that alone.
