I've been buying my musical equipment here for years now. Pete and the rest of the staff are always really friendly and helpful, and do great deals. They're happy to chat and provide advice. The quality of the products in stock has increased hugely with some cracking gear from Boss, Fender, Ibanez and more, plus he can order anything else you need. We're lucky to have a local music shop like this on our doorstep instead of having to go into a busy city centre and visit a big unit shifter.

Absolutely brilliant service, very friendly and awesome deals. To anyone looking for a guitar, I highly recommend band box. It refreshing to see a salesman recommending what's good for the buyer and not what is most profitable.

Excellent service and lovely little music shop! We arrived here this afternoon with a very disappointed 15 year old on his birthday after the online guitar we bought him was not what we expected, after a trip to Band Box we were given awesome customer service and left with a beaming birthday boy! Highly recommend Band Box. This little well run and well equipped guitar shop is packed full of lovely guitars to suit everyone's needs and endless accessories. Recently bought a Richwood Acoustic Guitar and the shop owner was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He even gave me a free guitar bag to prevent my guitar getting wet in the rain to walk home.

I bought a guitar from here back in December and was super happy with the service, I was helped pick the right one and was able to try whichever I wanted. I went back recently to buy a pedal (something I have no experience with whatsoever) and the help and advice was second to none, offering to try the pedals, showing me how to set them up. Can’t recommend this shop enough and I’m very grateful for the help I received.

Worth travelling to. Great guy. Loads of Knowledge.. good prices and a decent selection of instruments in store. And if he anit got what you want, he'll soon get it..
