The Nail Boutique Cheltenham

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, especially for a new business, but I was less than pleased about the pedicure I received from the Nail Boutique earlier this week. I got the impression that the man doing my pedicure had never given one before, it was very rushed, he didn’t shape the nails at all, was a bit rough with the cuticle cutting, no massage or lotion as is typically given in a spa pedicure, and didn’t rinse my toes after filing/before painting. Overall, my pedicure doesn’t look bad, however, it was certainly not worth the 30£ they charged nor was it the relaxing experience I was hoping for.

Beautiful salon, wonderful staff and Tan (hopefully I'm spelling that correctly) was amazing, very friendly, professional and great nail technician. Will definitely be returning for infills :) would absolutely recommend this salon.

I had acrylic shellac extensions and shellac pedicure. The interior and design of the nail salon is cute and the studio is conveniently located on High Street. The staff are friendly and skilful. The mail art they did was nice.

What really bothered me was that:
1) They only take cash. However, there isn’t a sign that says “Cash Only” nor are the customers with appointments notified before coming in.
I had to walk down to Sainsbury cash machine to withdraw cash to pay

2) When I asked for a receipt for my payment, they said that they couldn’t provide me with a receipt.

3) There was a discrepancy in the information of the price list between what was in the salon and what’s was sent to me online when I booked my appointment and prior to coming into the salon.

The business could do better with communicating with customers and also enable receipt giving in the future.

They atmosphere is nice and the selection of colours is vast.
The handling could be a bit rough- I had a small bleed on my toe after I left the salon.

Also, they only accept cash payment, but there is no CASH ONLY sign anywhere in sight.
Also, when asked to be provided with a receipt, I was refused.

Friendly staff, nails looked lovely when finished and the price was reasonable too.

Only place I will go to get my nails, I love them every time, reasonably priced too!!! 10/10, amazing nail art
