this was my first time ever getting my nails done and they did a great job! im obsessed with these nails. i was just a walk in so they told me to come back later that day which was ok. these were a full set of acrylic and nail art and costed me 36£. everyone was sweet too!

I made a booking over a week ago for a friend and I. I explained over the phone that my friend has a very special event (surprise) coming up and I needed to bring her to get her nails done. I was told that the booking was set and that we would have plenty of time set aside so that she could get whatever nail service she wanted.(6pm) Flash forward to today, we show up on time and are directed to choose a color and wait to be seated. We waited for about 15-20 minutes into our appointment time until my friend was seated and her entire service. I was directed to wait until the next available seat to be helped. Her service was completed and we were left sitting, waiting until after 7 o’clock and I had not even been sat at a workstation yet. As the customers left, the technicians left and there was never anyone available until the last customer left. When I expected to be seated, instead the last remaining technician started turning out the lights and getting ready to close the shop! We had to request that he checked my friend out as she still hadn’t even been helped to pay. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed we just left. I sat for over an hour to never be helped. Meanwhile, a customer with the same appointment time as us showed up half an hour late and was still serviced. Thank goodness my friend got her service completed (because that was the point of being there really) but it was so uncomfortable and embarrassing.

The most stressful experience I’ve ever had in a salon. Made an app for over my lunch break, there was already 4 people between 3 technicians when I came. Waited for 20 minutes before having to ask what was happening, then had a combination of 3 different people randomly doing my nails then being left while they did others. They cleaned the dust of the counter with a nail file and there was still skin in the cuticle clippers. Made to feel like it was my fault I only had an hour. One lady filed my nails standing up in between doing two other clients. Horrible experience all in all, which is a shame, just too greedy for clients - they were still taking people in even though they were late for appointments and people waiting upstairs haha!! Nightmare 🙈🙈

Mae & the team are so accommodating, hard working & we love our visits. The manicures are perfect for our hard working hands & last so well. Thank you x

I'm very happy with my nails. The team were so friendly and accommodating. I went in for infills and a new design, mae was very kind to mix a custom colour for me. And Deborah has done an amazing job with the design. Bare in mind it does take a bit longer than it says on their website but i would definitely recommend.

It's become our school holiday tradition to get my daughter's nails done at Art of Nails 🥰
The staff are friendly and accommodating (often squeezing us in last minute). Her nails are always beautiful and long lasting ❤️

Arrived on time, as I’d made an appointment. Place was busy. Was asked to go and sit upstairs and someone will come up to do my nails. 20 minutes later I’m still waiting so I walked out. Was told to “sit down, someone is coming”. I don’t think so, how rude! If people go to the bother of making an appointment you shouldn’t be keeping them waiting this long. Without customers you have no business. Maybe you should think about that.
