Elegant Nails

I have always walked in to this Nail Bar for a pedicure. They were happy to take my walk-in trade with myself and my daughter for £80 but when I returned today as one nail had completely come off and it was clear the gel hadn't cured on this nail and needed sorting, they advised they did not have time to fix the issue without an appointment! So over a period of 5 hours (all afternoon), they couldn't fix one nail and expected me to return another day. Dreadful service and would never return.

Don't go here. When I got my acrylics done, they were so rude and gave me a wonky nail and painted my nails really messily. Not worth £25! They didn't attempt to talk with the customer, just spoke to each other. When I got them removed, they pulled the acrylic off with their nail. It hurt so much. The acrylic powder stuff isn't even completely off and he shaped each one a different size and length. It wasn't filed well either, the edges were rough. He was rude too, kept tutting at me. I will never go here again, my nails are so damaged and they are so rude.

My friends and I had a day out of town and we wanted to get our nails done, so my friend suggested elegant nails. My friend usually has acrylic nails and they always look very nice and after she told me that is where she got hers done I didn’t hesitate to go there and get mine done. When we arrived we asked if they were available to do our nails and they said they did and told us to take a seat and pick our colours. I was then called over to have my nails done. The lady was very polite and my nails were done beautifully. My friends nails were also done to a very high standard and we were both very pleased with them especially as they aren’t too pricy (£25 for acrylics and normal polish).
I love my nails and would highly recommend coming here😄

I would not suggest using this nail shop, particularly if you are a black person. I visited at quite a busy time but was told that they would be able to fit me in. After waiting for 2 hours, I was next up, I showed the lady the nail style I wanted and she very bluntly said that I could not have them because they did not have a nude that would suit my (very medium dark) skin tone.. I was horrified not only did she not give me the option to have what I requested they clearly do no cater to black people. I was stunned. Mid nails she asked me to get back in the cue to look for another nail style and allowed 3 people in front of me. If I hadn’t already started my nails I would have left. Very strongly do not recommend for obvious costumer service flaws and lack of care to cater for everyone.

Would have scored no stars, turned a customer away because I didn’t want gel polish, wanted only normal nail varnish that I had with me, said they didn’t do that. What sort of nail shop is this!!

Great service, my nails were done with care and the nail tech re-filed them many times to make sure they were perfect -without me asking! Very happy with how they look for such a good price.

This was my first and will definitely be the last time going there. I had a what's called a "luxury manicure" costing £15, absolute waste of money and believe me there was nothing luxury about it. It was the most basic and quickest manicure I have ever had done. He rushed through to complete the manicure so he could see to the next customer. I was hoping for French manicure but was told that's only available in gel. The white tip was a no. Therefore being forced to choose a colour I didn't want. There was literally no care taken with the manicure. He was not only rude and abrupt in his manner but spoke only to his co- workers in his native language. Never ever going there again.
