American Nails

The first photo was exactly a WEEK after getting my acrylics done. The second photo was as soon as it was done. Scruffy and awful. Normally this takes about an hour at my normal nail place but as they were shut I came here. It took them 25 mins to do my nails. Didn’t cut them properly, they were wonky and slanted, didn’t push back cuticles, and were aggressive making my finger bleed. The prices on the window outside were cheaper than inside by around £7-10. The first photo should normally be what my nails look like after 3 weeks. Not 1 week. Disgraceful. Will never come here again.

Really disappointed, went in for acrylics with nail art and was told this would cost an extra £10, once the acrylics were on they changed the price to an extra £20. This was over my budget and I had to change what I wanted, they only told me the new price when it was too late for me to leave.
Worker seemed to be rushing through the application and cut me more than once as a result but still didn’t slow down. End result is not awful but looks nothing like what I asked for and is very simple. The acrylic is also very thick and bulky compared to standard and some of the nails are very wonky.
When I tried to pay they told me it was cash only and that I had to leave items as collateral while I went to get cash - this would have been fine except there were no signs saying cash only and they didn’t tell any customers about this until it was time to pay. End price was more than what is written on the signs outside and there are additional charges that do not get mentioned until the work is finished. Not a pleasant experience at all and I won’t be returning. If you can’t deliver a design, please just say that! And make sure you’re quoting accurate prices before the customer is in too deep to say no thank you.

I popped in to have my nails done at the weekend,they was busy but the wait wasn't long,made you welcome,had my nails done,the staff are lovely very happy with my nails 😊

Had shellac polish on my natural finger nails, uneven, lumpy, 24hrs later and my nail polish is chipping off.

Burnt my fingers on the UV lamps and heard other customers complain about the lamps being too hot.

Won’t be returning in the future.

I’d never had my nails done professionally before and this was unfortunately far from what I expected! Rude staff made us feel very uncomfortable, reluctant to let me choose a colour and just wanted to use what was already on the table, made me bleed multiple times when pushing back my cuticles and the nails aren’t even done to a half decent quality! Very disappointed!

Had Acrylics done- they were rushed and wonky. Had to file my nails myself when I got home. I had french manicure painted on with gel and that was AWFUL wonky and uneven. So unhappy with my nails. Girl who did them was so rude also

Absolutely avoid this place. I was anticipating a wonderful manicure and there I am getting my fingers butchered. Yes, BUTCHERED! One of the worst manicures I have ever received in my life. The person cut three of my fingers when he was trimming around my nail and all of them bled. On top of that, the aloe Vera cream smells horrible when they give you a hand massage. I just wanted to get out of that place for good. You won’t believe how much I paid… £22 for this job?!!? I am in shock. Please do not go here unless you which your fingers to be treated like they are going into a rotisserie.
