First time getting my nails done and honestly it was very much worth it. Kind staff and very talented.

If I still lived here I would definitely get them done on the regular

Golden Nail File isn’t my usual nail salon but my favourite was fully booked and I was flying abroad the next day.

I wasn’t impressed with the service from the get go. I called in advance wanting to book an appointment and was told it was walk in. I turned up and waited for over an hour to be seen, in that time two women showed up and were seen first, they’d had appointments! Naturally this resulted in a longer and longer wait.

I chose to have an in fill with white gel nail polish on my natural nails. I have very strong nails and never have a problem with breaking or chipping. I left the salon happy with the end result but the results did not last long. Within two days the nail on my pinky broke right to the quick and it was very painful. Within three days the gel nail polish chipped and peeled away. I’m well aware of how to look after my nails and I would usually expect them to last 3 weeks without any issues.

Normally I would go back and demand that the issue be rectified, especially seeing as it cost me £27 to have done, but as I was away, this wasn’t possible.

Very disappointed and what a waste of money.
I would not recommend and I will not be returning.

I have to say not the best salon I have entered for nails, the technician commented "I don't get my nails done very often "rude comment to make, especially a new customer. Nail polish was missing on one nail slightly, apart from that a good service was carried out. When she remarked about my nails, I wanted to leave at that point. They always speak in Chinese which also made me feel a bit uncomfortable with the experience!

I travel from Bridgend to Cardiff just to have my nails done here. Stunning nails every time. Staff are all lovely and so accommodating. Appointments and walk ins available. Be prepared to wait if busy as they are very popular but definitely worth the wait. Have had my nails done for years but they've never lasted as long as they do here.

I walked in for a pair of milky white gel nails. The customer service was amazing. My nails were filed with care and am happy with my nails. Going back again and again. Am so happy☺️

I came to Cardiff from the United States and this nail salon was recommended to me by my boyfriend's sister. I haven't gotten my nails done in 10 years. I booked an appointment online and brought a picture from Pinterest as inspiration. The lady was very nice and eager to help me. She did a phenomenal job and was kind to ask several times throughout the process if I was happy with how they looked. If you are looking for a nail salon of high quality and excellent results, this is the salon for you! I will be returning next time I fly to the UK in April!

absolutely in love with my nails and will definitely come again, changed my nail idea half way through and they were lovely about it. my boyfriend had his feet done and he won't stop talking about it and getting me to feel. staff kept checking in to see if I was happy with my nails and i must say that it's been so hard to find a salon that does my nails up to my standard considering i usually do my own acrylic extensions but you've all hit the nail on the head. thank you so much it was an all round lovely experience:))

Walked in and was served within 5 mins (off peak time) ! My nail tech was David and he was lovely. My first time getting acrylics and he helped me decide exactly what to go for. He was also so gentle which is a big plus for me!! I’m so in love with them. Such a beautiful set. Will definitely be back!!
