The Beauty Lounge (Queen Street)

I’ve been coming to Basia for a few months now and I’m extremely happy with her services. She’s super friendly, super easy to get on with and does beautiful nails. I’ve never had a problem with nails from her and I’ve always had amazing catch ups with her. Would recommend to everyone!

Basia is an exceptional nail technician. Not only is her artistry unique, but the level of customer service and care always leaves me feeling pampered and looked after. She is positive, friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend this place and their stuff. :)

Myself and two friends came here to get our nails done before we went on holiday and Basia and Abbi did an incredible job and were super friendly and accommodating (pic attached of the nails on the holiday!!)

The best place in town if you want LA weaves done, Matt works his magic to make everyone look like a million dollar, great place to buy hair cosmetics and extensions. Also they provide nails service as well, and Basia is amazing. I broke one of my nails on a day of going on holiday, Basia managed to fit me in and fixed it for me even though it was her original work (done my nails elsewhere), she matched colours and design perfectly!!! Highly recommend this place!

I came here today for an eyebrow wax and the lady who was waxing me pressed a bit too hard with the wax spatula and seemed to be in a rush. They also ended up waxing a chunk of my eyebrow off of which was denied when I confronted them about it. Now I have to use an eyebrow pencil to fill it in. Will not be coming back again unfortunately. I didn't want to give a too low of a rating because they were very nice and welcoming, I just would like it if they were a little more careful and took their time.

Got my eyebrows tinted here and they done them way too dark and overfilled so much. Worst experience of my life. Oh and they are transphobic to.

Excellent experience. Great service. Will happily return. From what I’ve gathered, all of the 1 star reviews are from people who’ve never actually visited the salon, and are from followers of a social media personality, and the entire thing is a complete witch hunt for zero reason.

HORRIBLE!!! took my four year old daughter as she has been begging me to let her get her nails done , the lady was very rough and filed her nails down until they were paper thin!! Also cut a few of her fingers with the nail file!!! My daughter explained that the lamp was hurting her fingers and I was burning and the lady told her to deal with it!!!

RUDE STAFF WILL NOT BE BACK!!!
