I pay £25 in London for a take off, soak the cuticles manicure, and shellac polish. Never would I have dreamed that I would have to pay £30 for a take off, 'manicure', and shellac polish in Skelly, Swansea. Firstly, the take off was with the sandpaper drill - everyone knows this thins your nails and you get a ridge when they grow out. The polish should be soaked long enough to be removed gently with an orange stick, if you're going to do it right. Seconly, I had to ask for the 'manicure' and it cost extra; didn't use cuticle remover and was pretty poor. The shellac polish was fine. This is a dirty little place, there were crisp crumbs on the dilapidated couch in the entrance, and the man I had was rude. Do yourself a favour and go around the corner to the other Beauty bar.

Preferred the previous owners. I had a £25 pedicure that lasted 30 minutes and it was just painful. I had normal polish (not gel) on my toes when I went in and they removed it with the electric file when nail varnish remover would have done it. My toes were actually bleeding around the nail where the cuticle was PULLED out and my skin was pulled. The exfoliation bar was excruciatingly painful, so hard. The massage chair and the cup of tea was the only bit that was enjoyable. Outcome...I still have dry skin on my feet and my toe nails aren't shaped nicely and I'm £25 down.
I chose not to have nails painted as wanted to use my own. Same price painted or not.

This has been my regular salon for several years now, family run and very friendly always having a joke and they know my colour and the shape I’m always happy with which isn’t listed,
The pedicure chair is a must they take their time and is comforting,
They open for morning till late and I’ve always seen them accommodate never turning anyone away, sometimes there is a Queue which does show you how popular they are,
Keep up the good work see you again soon as always

I used to come here for years and would be very satisfied, but for the past 6 months I have been dissatisfied every time. They are extremely rough when doing your nails, to the point of cutting you until you bleed, they always say sorry but continue to hurt you again. To be fair, the lady is great and very good, but the two men are not; its as if they are rushing to get you done and move onto the next customer. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable and PAIN FREE experience but unfortunately its the pain, cuts, and bleeding that have made me write this review and is the reason I will not be coming here again :(

I got the BEST gel pedicure I've ever received at this lovely, clean, and neat nail salon. The staff were polite and friendly, and my feet and toes have never looked and felt so good! I'd highly recommend this place, and the prices are super reasonable, too!

Paid for my partner to have her nails done for her to ring me no later than 10minutes later upset on the phone as the people doing the nails hadn't listened to a word she said despite ringing previously booking in manicure and polish. Whilst looking at another girls nails next to her, he hacked her nails really short and was about to proceed to stick fake nails on. Something she's never had done the whole time we have been together. I rushed back to the shop for no explanation just excuses, unprofessional behaviour like laughing. When I asked who the manager was, the woman replied saying she was the manager, the one making all kinds of excuses for the service being provided. Not only were her nails hacked short, they were jagged and the nails themself all scuffed up ready to glue fakes on. Can't believe how rude and unprofessional they all were at the salon.
Would avoid like the plague, can't even understand what you want.

I prebooked my appointment over the phone for a manicure and gel polish. When I arrived at the salon I said I was here for my appointment for a manicure and polish. I was asked to wash my hands and take a seat. I was asked if I wanted some of them cut down because some of them were quite long, I said yes. I was admiring the nails of the lady sat next to me and as I went to look back at my own nails I was horrified to see that my nails had been hacked off with the nail clippers and left with rough edges and he had pulled out a box of plastic tips. I immediately stopped him and asked him what he was doing and said this is not what I booked. The woman stood up and shouted at me saying it was my fault and said I should have said what I wantedl! She then argued with me I told her I should have been given what I booked and announced when I arrived what I was there for. You wouldn't take your car in for an mot and they do something else. If they didn't know what I came in for why would you do what you want and try to stick false nails on me! All of a sudden they didn't understand English. The staff were unbelievably rude and my nails are ruined. AVOID AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
