Looking for a quiet place for a dog walk, cycle or just some peace and quiet? Check this place out. Just park at the side of the road, there is normally plenty of space and then hop over the fence. I normally walk up the road but there is another walk heading through the woods. There are a few loops and there is some basic signs but think they haven’t aged too well. If you head up to the top of the woods you’ll find some great views of Milnathort and Kinross or the Ochil Hills. If you are cycling I’d suggest sticking to the road that goes through the woods. There are a couple of trails for mountain bikes but they are quite sketchy.

A great walk today in the snow with our dog, no one else around - this is always a quieter place to walk your dog if that's what you want. Great views, lots of different parts of the forest to try and breathtaking views.

Can take months exploring the place if you walk between the plantations

Easy to find and plenty parking. A lot of timber harvesting in progress. Good views out over loch Leven. Just go straight up track and keep left
