Me and my boyfriend stayed in one of he Yurts. Absolutely cracking! Clean, homely, well equipped. The Yurt it self has a log burner, a bed, lots of cosy blankets, mini side table, torches. There is a separate building with a shower and toilet (very very clean), kettle, washing machine, cooking facilities. Really lovely stay in nature. HIGHLY recommend!

Stunning working farm location, stayed in the beautiful 2 bedroom cottage attached to the farm house. Full facilities, very comfortable beds, Clare couldn’t do enough for us!! Beach 15 minutes away in seascale, muncaster castle and ravensglass railway just down the road. Will certainly be back again

I don't know where to start! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The host, the Yurt, the view, the sheep.. perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Myself and 3 friends stayed in the yurt by the stream and it was fab. Claire (owner) is so helpful and kind even putting a bottle of wine in the yurt as it was my friends birthday. The yurt was immaculate with everything you could need and some lovely little extras. The shower was lovely and clean. On the spur of the moment we asked if we could book breakfast for the next day for 10am and have a late check out none of which was a problem. Where do i start with the breakfast...£12pp and when i say it was incredible that is an understatement. Everything you could possibly want for a breakfast from toast, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cherries the list goes on and then the most beautifully cooked english breakfast from locally sourced produce. I cant wait to make a return visit. Fabulous

The moment you come down the driveway to the carpark you're hit with the most amazing views! Claire is an amazing host with incredible knowledge of the area we hit a nail on the road prior to coming she could have said I hope you have AA cover but no she called a friend to come and take the tyre off repair it and fit the tyre again we were completely taken back as no one mentioned anything of payment purely a goodwill gesture. If you're looking to stay here to only climb Skarfell I highly recommend staying a few extra nights to take in everything the area has to offer so many amazing walks and lakes to swim if you're looking for the perfect getaway to decompress and take in the best of the British countryside look no further!

The most perfect and serene getaway for my birthday 🎂 Had all the amenities necessary in the stream by the Yurt. Comfiest bed I've ever stayed in! And I often struggling sleeping in a bed other than my own. Great location for a trip to Scafell Pike.

Had a fantastic weekend away staying in the Yurt by the stream, just such a lovely environment to just kick back and relax. Fantastic breakfast served by the very friendly Claire, who was more than hospitable. Highly recommended 👌
