I just totally love Rigsby Woods. A peaceful, albeit muddy walk, especially in the winter months but packed with birdlife and pretty scenery. In springtime it's transformed into a sea of blue with bluebells and autumn puts on a colourful show too. A great place for kids to let off steam and to walk the dogs but please clean up after them and ensure it stays a lovely, contained little woodland.

Been to this place many times with my dogs and have found it as everyone else beautiful peaceful woodland. However today I went there and a plaque is now on entrance `NO DOGS` I cannot understand this as this stops 90% of walkers enjoying responsibly this lovely part of the Wolds. I would like to understand this stance by the trust. I could maybe understand if this was `must be on leads` surely responsible dog walkers as responsible walkers wouldnt cause and issues?

Ancient coppicing wood, an absolute treasure trove of wildlife, flora and fauna.

Very overgrown and not recommended for smaller children. Barely any path to follow. Secluded and extremely quiet. Some beautiful plants.

Great for a woodland walk and see the bluebells.

Nice little walk round the woods... not much to see though at this time of year (August) and during a drought but very quiet and peaceful. There wasn't a sign up saying no dogs luckily as I'd walked there with my dog... perhaps the sign was put up for the nesting season?

Very pleasant Autumn walk with the dog, I always pick up after her and looks like everyone else does too. Will go again.

Beautiful little wood great for a short walk. Managed to see some wild orchids starting to bloom early. People were there with dogs on a lead as it looks as though the ‘no dogs’ sign has been taken down. The only spoil was the amount of dog poo that have been left on the paths. I collect 10 poo bags worth and I didn’t even have my dogs with me. I would recommend that a poo bag or bin should be available at the top of the gate. Other than that it is a beautiful walk
