This is a great beach to walk the dog... Park at the farmers car park and walk through the glade along the stream.. You can turn left at the beach and walk to Nash point or right and walk towards Dunraven... But do take note of thd tide times. If you're lucky you might also find a fossil in the rocks

What a cool beach! Check the tide times as there’s not much at high tide but at low tide you can follow the cliff round to a sandy bay. The cliffs are amazing, really interesting. The car park (honesty box donation) is a 15 minute walk away through a nature reserve so you can’t drive any closer, wear comfy shoes as it’s quite a rocky trail. Dogs are welcome.

Great beach a very short drive from Cardiff. Pembroke is incredible - but not exactly a day trip. For an afternoon at the beach Monknash is a solid choice. When the tide is out there is a large sandy beach, and the cliffs make for a spectacular backdrop to your sunbathing!!

Really beautiful, but when it is high tide the tide comes in very fast and if you’re round the otherwise of the beach to the left you can get stuck. We did, and had to get the coast guard out. Be warned!

Don’t make this a whole day thing. There aren’t any toilet facilities close by, beach itself is a long all to get to through muddy rocky terrain so be aware to wear correct footwear. For the walking it’s perfect the sedimentary rocks, and the rock pools have different species to identify with children. Make sure you have all the food and drink you will need as there is nothing close by.

A little bit of a trek to get too bit worth the effort. I wouldn't personally call it a beach though as when I went it was just rocks & cliffs but the scenery is stunning. There's nothing around for miles mind so make sure you take everything you need for the day 😎😎

Great place for a quiet dog walk. Make sure you check tide times before going! There's a mixture of sand, pebbles and rock. No café or toilets.

Very nice beach, not your usual just sand and sea, lots of rocks and some, but still great for kids, rock pools and cliffs to explore. Ours kids loved it
