Great place to go for a walk, lots of nature trails with different routes to choose from. Parking was quite difficult is the only downside but it shows how popular the place is!
We will definitely visit again in the future

A beautiful tranquil nature reserve. A place to get lost in the surroundings. A nature lover & bird lovers paradise. Many walks & trails & a funtime to be had with all the family. A great cafe with phenomenal views. Helpful staff & very good value for money serving excellent cakes. Clean bathroom facilities are available. A children’s play area is provided & plenty of car parking for a charge of £2. If you don’t have change for the car park pay at the kiosk opposite the car park. A highly recommended must visit. To see is to believe where the sky meets earth.

Love visiting Whisby Nature Park. Like going for long walks around the Park. You can easily go for a 5 mile walk with all the different routes, surrounded by beautiful lakes and countryside. Very well maintained.

When you've finished your walk, there is seating area outside where you can get drinks and snacks from the hatch. There's also a great indoor cafe with stunning views over the main lake at the park.

Parking is paid for, but not stupid prices.

If you're in the area, or haven't been, I would certainly recommend a visit.

If you're taking dogs, keep them on the lead. There are plenty of bins around the park to out your dog poop bags.

I'm going to start by saying this place is huuuugeeeee. First thing first: When you get to the reserve you'll see a big car park. We paid £1.50 for 5h which I don't think is bad at all considering the size of this place. There are public toilets as well as a cafe and a shop. Once you enter the park you will see a signpost for all the trails. I didn't really notice this at the start but on the trails to your left you can have your doggies off the lead. The ones on the right you will have to have your doggies on the lead at all times. Needless to say we went right 🤦‍♀️Along the pathway you will see lots of enclosed areas which are homes to various wildlife, black sheep and birdies. We spend 3h walking around the different trails and don't think we even walked them all. At the sides of the trails there are lakes with lots of bird watching enclosures for all you bird watchers. On these pathways you are not allowed to cycle either however there are other pathways where this is permitted. This is a wonderful place to bring your family for a gentle stroll, a picnic or maybe a romantic walk. Pack some snacks, drinks and sandwiches and go adventuring. Now for the trails to the left of the entrance ☺️ here you can have the doggies off the lead, not much wildlife it just goes around one of the lakes. There is also a little stream in between the pathways so the doggies can have a drink. ☺️ Perfect 🥰

Lovely nature park right on my doorstep. Easily accessible car park but be warned, can get very busy. Parking during winter months is £1, £2 in the summer. All trails signposted, benches placed throughout. Nice to get away for a couple of hours. Really good for dog walking and for kids as well.

Really nice park, even on a gloomy day. Plenty of trails to walk, plenty of parking and a nice little gift shop/information centre/cafe. Plenty of bins and benches around the site, with a lot of observation huts with information on the birds. Most of the trails are dogs on leads only, but there is one with dogs allowed off lead, and it was good to see everyone following these rules. Parking is £1 in the winter.

Lovely place for a walk long or short, good disabled access and facilities for all the family. Nice cafe, activities and indoor/outdoor play for kids of all ages. Really nice gift shop too. Parking can be paid for by card now which is easier and in winter it's £1.50. stunning lakes, bustling with nature to spot and really well kept by hard working staff and volunteers. Good cheap place to go for a wander, seen stoats, lizards, squirrels, and loads of different birds.
