This is the most peaceful and tranquility place i have ever had the pleasure to visit. Such peaceful walking around the lagoons watching the duck's and wildlife, the dragon files are most beautiful especially the blue one's, plenty of park benches so you can just relax and the biggest bonus of all that their is no mosquitoes

Love this place! Used to live close so spent alot of my childhood here! Beautiful and full of wildlife! Always lovely to see the cormorants and turns, some nesting herons here at the moment too! Well worth visiting summer or winter.

Beautiful place to go for some nature and wildlife spotting! Only drawback is the one way path from the bridge side of the lagoons it needs clearing by the council. Beautiful adventure non the less :)

Lovely place for a nature walk, loads of birds and wild fowl. Also treated to a fantastic murmuration.

Lovely area and great for nature watching. However, ruined by dogs and their owners. Gedling Conservation Society, presumably in conjunction with the landowners, have signs up saying that dogs "must be kept on leads". Nevertheless the vast majority ignore the signs and when asked why their dogs aren't on leads generally react aggressively.
Personally I have seen dogs chasing the deer into wire fencing and allowed to run amok in the reed beds.
The land is NOT a public right of way and access is allowed by permission of the landowner. So maybe the selfish dog owners might eventually end up losing the area to the detriment of those of us who want to enjoy this beautiful place.
