Lomeshaye Marsh is a rescued area that has been gradually restored to its original wet lands. A popular place for twitchers it is also becoming a favourite with bird photographers. There are a couple of Hides on site.

Lovely reserve. Great for damselflies and dragonflies in summer. Some great fungus in autumn too.

Good place to wander around, you see all sorts of things throughout the year. A new one on me was the stoat though seen it a couple of times now, never managed a picture, soon though. Loads of wild flowers, mushrooms, piles of wild garlic all surounded by running water making it the freshest place in town brah.

Was only delivering to a building site there but Google keeps asking for a review of places I've been. So here goes. It's a building site for residential homes. Lots of mud. Very tight for an articulated lorry. Hope that helps.

This a beautiful place with constant work being done to improve the quality of the environment and provide a unique walking experience alongside the river with fauna and flora in abundance. Charming place to have a peaceful day.
