Perfect location, with toilets and advisory boards. Now has a £1 parking charge. Some of the best Bluebells in the region, with the strong fragrance of wild garlic in the spring. Old established ancient woodland with steepish paths in places. Nice picnic tables thanks to the £1 parking charge.

What a lovely place to visit. Car parking is pay and display (cards or coins - only £1). There's lots of paths to follow and picnic tables. We started a walk from here which brought us in a circle through Whalley and back.

Lovely walk we found in Whalley. Visited with the dogs due to staying nearby in a lodge. We found this park online and went to visit. Parking is £1 all day but as the machine wasn’t working it came to £1.20 on the RingGo app. Easy parking and easy to navigate around, not too strenuous, plenty of paths to follow. Lots of benches to enjoy something to eat at. Took us around an hour to do a full walk so we were able to go around a few times before we left.

Beautiful in the spring when the bluebells are in full bloom.
Not to much of a strenuous walk, and to do a loop of the woods doesn’t really take to long.
There is a car park but can get full.

Very beautiful area. Saw some dear and found a nice bit of water. Area is huge, we barely scratched the surface. Will definitely go back.

Great place to walk with little ones. As it is gentle and not too large a route. Lots of fallen logs around to spark their imagination and have a go at climbing on.
Plenty of picnic benches to stop and have a picnic in a beautiful spot. It is a great spot to see bluebells in April.

There is a food truck and ice cream van that stops by - probably weekend only.

Plenty of car parking space. All round a lovely spot to visit.
