Nice day out for the kids. Educational as they get to learn a bit of history about the place and can go fossil hunting. Kids do get very messy though. No parking on site so only accessible by bike or walking although there is a small residential car park nearby.

Very serene and peaceful. Popular place for dog 🐕 walking. Remember to bring plastic bags for dog excrement. There are bins. Next to it there is short trail like forestry Vive for nature watch. Despite being literally next to a main road, it seems you got teleported to a faraway jungle. KID FRIENDLY.

Such a beautiful, unique and important site. It brings Cambridge's prehistory to life and is an amazing area for looking at plants that thrive growing on chalk.

Exceptional place, very close to Cambridge, with a convenient access for example by bike. I visited it when it was rather cloudy so I am looking forward to coming there once again, but during a golden hour!

One remark: be careful when stepping on the chalk, it is extremely slippery, especially when it's wet.

Enjoyable walk, interesting views. Watch the wheater forecast as on rain is not pleasant at all.

Having lived nearby on and off for over 50 years this is a special place, I remember when the cement works was operating on Colhams lane and they brought the chalk from here. Left now to nature its good for a walk or exhilarating mountain bike experience!
