Great greenery by Greenstead. Great to just sit in and watch the surrounding area. Also great to watch the sun set from. I would highly recommend this place to those that like to get away and have a bit of peace and quiet with a beautiful view. I've also seen some cows in the fields now and then, there is definitely evidence of them being around...💩

Salary brook is a beautiful place to visit. It has 3 large ponds. Which are fished and are home to swans. It also has a play area which is very safe for the children to play on. I used to take my daughter there and we had such fun😀💗there are also walks along the fields and along the front which is pathed. Highly recommended. Very peaceful.

Used to go for lovely walks over here with my beloved gus. Been recently with my grandaughters to scatter his ashes

Good walk but where you go through into another field the stinging nettles need cutting back . They are in the way and we both tried to avoid them but we still got stung.

This nature reserve is a strip that runs alongside Greenstead / Longridge. Catch it on a good day and you can have a nice walk although unfortunatly you can't miss the power cables... there is a couple of play parks for the young 'uns and also some ponds where you can potentially see the ducks. The area can get VERY muddy if it has rained!

lovely walk with the dog, cows out on the top filed in the summer months so keep dogs on the lead but able to walk all the way down to the old beehive pub cross over and you can walk over the filds behind .. few other public walks if you head up over the hill to the famers cottage say hello to the friendly chickens as we do and follow the path around its a lovely and peaceful walk with the dog.

A bit muddy today but great for walking the dog. Also very quiet, exactly what you need after a busy day at work.
