I litter pick here in my free time and enjoy every minute of it, unfortunately some people are so lazy, they pick up their dog's doings and then put the bag/s in a tree or hang it on a fence. So why not dispose of it in a bin, I mean, you pick it up and then drop it again this is called littering and is an unlawful act. Maybe I will film it next time I go?. (Photo) Having said that, this is a beautiful area of Kent to visit, spend an afternoon, bring a picnic and have a great time.

Lovely place in all seasons. You can walk all the way around the main heathland in 50 - 60 minutes.

Free parking area to one side of the park, have to cross a not to busy road into the main woodland, signposted with coloured signs for different walking distances and routes. Dog friendly if you can keep them under control you can share the space with cattle and sheep so be aware. Nice walks on grass and worn trails some roots are prominent above the surface so be careful. Most areas are not wheelchair friendly and have kissing gates to keep the animals in. No seating to rest your legs but there are signs showing where you are. No toilets or cafe. Dog and rubbish bins by entrances. Well worth a visit if your with your dog

Lovely open space, huge range of wildlife. There is a board that is updated with the latest things spotted and where the grazing animals are.
No toilets or other facilities on site.
Very popular with dog walkers

Because sometimes you don't need a play park. Or a soft play centre. Full of trails, dens built by the young and old - go and get lost in the magic of nature. IT'S FREE.

Good size, free car park, poo bins. Cross over road to enter heathland. Lovely variety of wood, open areas and boggy bits. Wild roaming horses and cattle can be seen so make sure your dogs are within recall. Choice of 4 clearly marked trails to enjoy.

Lots of great trails to keep the four legged family member interested with board walks and streams. The horses were amazing. Parking available across the road.

Great place to walk the dogs. Lots of different routes to walk, so lots of different scents for the dogs to sniff out. But muddy today and our dogs both found the water and went in. Baths definitely needed when we got home, but we'll worth it for the great time they both had.
