Kelham Bridge Nature Reserve

Brilliant little reserve nice people birdwatching in the two hides .

Beautiful. Unfortunately in late November, it was incredibly muddy. Definitely a welly boot place.

Sitting for hours not seeing much but peaceful and quite often some other like minded people to chat to.

Not the best weather day for my first visit as the fog didn't lift. I will return on a clear day. Looks like a nice local walking area

Great walk. Only short but quiet and varied environment from woods to water to rough pasture to flower meadow.

Very basic nature reserve with 2 reasonable hides though parking is very limited.
After a long wait we were honoured with a visit from a Kingfisher with late sun

Went for my first visit yesterday (5/6/21) and got my first ever Kingfisher photos. Very impressed and intend to see a lot more of it on my next visit.
