Nice place for a walk if you only have 40 - 60 mins available.
There is a ciruclar footpath around the outside of the site which is well made and pleasant, but there are also pathways that are worth exploring within the centre of the site.
Don't bother trying to see the reservoir that is at the top of the hill, as it is fenced off to the public, but don't let that stop you from climbing to the top to see the views.

Lovely place for an hours walk with kids. Pushchair friendly and plenty of lovely scenery and trees for kids to climb on.

Brilliant walk through the woods, a path for those who find it a bit harder walking. My dogs enjoyed all the new sniffs

Great area to walk round .Two routes from car park to the left easier incline to the right a steeper incline. A nice green area with seating and relaxing. There are other sitting areas for a rest too. Good for families to walk round and plenty of little routes off main paths the circular route is just over one mile. Other walks are accessible from the barff either walk to brayton via road or canal by tracks but a little hard to find if you don't know where to go. Plenty of people to ask

Our first visit to Brayton Barff after passing it by lots of times on our way to Selby. There are well built pathways here as well as easy to follow trails. We took our three children with us who all had a great time running around the woodland and the hilltop.
The place appears to be part of the Yorkshire Water network, with a small access road up to the top of the hill where there is a fenced off reservoir.
The woodland here is fantastic and looks old, plenty of birds to spot and woodland critters scurrying about. Really enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful place. If you have dogs, please try and stick to the path that takes you around. This is still home to lots of wildlife that don't need to be terrified by your dogs.
