Little Chalfont Nature Park

Misty day in January. Park is in good condition, and excellent for some outdoor time in the middle of winter.

What a fantastic gem of a place. Amazingly kept, clean and a variety of things to see. There's also a well laid out log setup ready to be climbed and a picnic table or 2.

Even on a Sunday the place was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately some idiots had left picnic litter which we cleared up. There are some interesting sculptures and areas where kids can play, climb and get some exercise.

Great carvings to find; lovely meadows and a nice woodland track. Tranquil.

Fantastic little hideaway from it all, excellent stroll with kids , very quiet and delightful.

It's nice, but too small to be called a Nature Reserve.

Lovely little park. Very well kept. Lots of wild flowers and lots of interesting wooden statues and interesting facts about nature. It is small and wouldn't do for it to become too popular. But it is interesting for children.

Enjoy wonderful wood carvings and read about the nature surrounding you as you follow the natural trail around the perimeter of this compact and beautiful place. Take a rest on a bench and fill your lungs with the tranquil space surrounding you.

Children can enjoy learning about nature, spot the carvings, climb on the wooden climbing frame, run in the dells and listen to a story in the "outdoor classroom".
