What a beautiful place to spend a Sunday morning. No commercialisation to spoil what nature has to offer. Flowers and birdsong were particularly lovely today. Many thanks for giving us the opportunity to visit on an open day and for all the hard work you do to preserve this lovely site.

Beautiful wood, but check if there is an open day before going. Under threat due to plans to build a large housing estate adjacent to it
