Haven't been for over 15 years, still a lovely walk to help clear and detox the mind and body. Saw a green spotted woodpecker or so I believe from distance to make it worthwhile

Delightful woods for a stroll or a dog walk. No facilities or attractions just a simple traditional English woodland owned by the local council and home to wide variety of wildlife.

These are nice woods, good for a hilly trail run of around 4-10km, which was the reason for my visit. There is free parking at the end of a long narrow road. The woods felt a bit out of the way, and were nice and quiet as a result.

Fantastic wood and lots of different paths to follow... perfect for 4children and a dog to burn off some energy. Not too busy either, which is good in lockdown!

Lovely little woods across a hill, some nice looking trails and views, parking, a few scattered glades and benches for a picnic. Doggo paw of approval received

Always very pleasant and not too busy with lots of people. So if you like a peaceful walk it's ideal.

Great place to walk dogs, parking easy. Very quiet but it’s so big you could easily avoid others, if that’s your thing 😉

Perfect place to go for a walk, especially if you want to get off the beaten track. Beautiful sunflower field just outside too. Be warned though, there is a lack of sinage and the road up to the car park is rather rocky.
