It happened that I was travelling from Middleton in Teesdale, home to the south of England but I wanted to look for Bumblebees. As I arrived a group was being led to do just that. I joined them and saw for the first time Heath Bumblebees.

The site is extensive with a fine view. Very interesting.

Beautiful walk, the views are spectacular. Sheep just walk around ewe and are clearly used to people being close to them.

It’s a nice walk if a bit exposed on top of the hill, the rewards are the views. I only saw sheep, cows and pixies

First time here, fabulous views, large area so plenty of scope for exploring. Walking with an all terrain buggy so top path most suitable for us although we did venture down the hill and head east to come back up via the quiet road. A few sheep and cattle in the distance, lots of birdsong, moths, butterflies and bees.
