Great place for a leisurely walk, and watching the wildlife, especially the water birds around the ponds. I managed to take some fairly decent photos of the birds whilst walking the trails.

Lovely place to walk the dog. Lots of wildlife, especially robins.
The car park can get quite busy, so go early

Very lovely nature reserve. It was my first visit and as a manual wheelchair user I'm always keen to find new accessible places. It's a great place to go. The paths are good and there are some uphills that gave me a bit of a challenge. I would definitely go again

Great short singletrack MTB cycle trail, ideal for little kids who can pedal / brake independently. Can be used for balance biking but may need some assistance. Car park isn't far, with only a small hill to get up to the trail.

Two large fishing lakes, bridal and cycle routes only available, oodles of birdlife in and around the lakes, peaceful and well kept pathways and seating all add up to another super Derbyshire walking route.
Grand stuff!

Reasonable fishing. Pity about the cars that use the road from Heath as a race track. Great care is needed to cross the road of you have parked roadside. Car park height restriction is 2.1m
