Formerly the West Cannock No 2 Pit, this area now shows little of the mining heritage and has been turned into a local amenity. There is a good range of species to be found including Bee Orchids and Sticklebacks. The pond is a favorite of locals and the path through the area joins Stafford Lane with Old Hednesford Road.

Nice little nature reserve with long grasses and trees and a lake leading to a small river, good for photographs and walks

Go here a great deal, just need people to take their litter and dog poop home or use the many many bins provided. Mable loves it!

Lovely walk. I was expecting an industrialised area instead I got a lovely nature reserve.

Lovely nearby walk for us. All on the flat with a car park for those needing to travel there. Nice lake with wildlife and ducks for the children to feed.

Local to me. Beautiful place to walk dogs or go for a general stroll. Just wish horrible litter louts would stop dropping their rubbish or using entrances to fly tip. Fly tippers should be jailed for a minimum 1 year. No exceptions

Lovely place to take the kids for a walk, or on their bikes. To feed the fish and the duck's, or even to play football.
