I love this place, free parking and free to enjoy.
TIP: have the AllTrails app the first time to help you orientate yourself. Although it's not giant (but bigger than you think!) you can end up walking in circles (talking from experience!)
There's different routes for a decent leg stretch and easier tracks. Good for kids to explore but not prams or accessibily friendly because it's all natural trails (no wooden flat walkways etc) views are amazing! Can see for miles !
Even when it's "busy" you don't often bump into people or feel crowded. There are sometimes cows grazing so dogs can go but need to be kept on leads.

Nice woodlands walk for hiking beginners. Has short and long walk and just a few steeper climbs.

Beautiful and beautifully quiet place. Great for quite time reading a book, walking the dog or for walking one of the trails. I took the summit walk over the top of the quarry. Once you reach the top the views are quite breathtaking! Would very much recommend to experienced and armature walkers alike. It's a little steep but an easy trail. Allow an hour.

A lovely walking area and we’ll suitable for keeping kids of all ages. As a bonus you get magnificent views even before getting to the top of the Crag. The walk is well signposted and broad enough to walk side by side. There is a longer walk for those that want a little extra, but the short walk is ideal for starters and kids. The information boards are filled with interesting facts on the park. We’ll worth an outing.

Good walk.the Warton crag circular has loads of trails leading up. You choose which route you take. The distance can vary from 2 to 4 km...we ended up taking the lower trails and still covered 2.5km. The climb is around 110m at the highest point. There is a large car park where you can leave the car.

Use the "all trail" app. This shows you all the different trails. Even if you get lost, ypu really can't with this app, ypu simply join the train further along.

It's an incredible view from the top. Well worth the effort..

Lovely place to walk and take your dog. Parking is free, but there are no facilities. Stunning views from the top. The postcode took my Satnav to the lower road. So had to use Google maps. Well worth a visit.

Free parking at the Crag which is always a bonus. The first thing you see when you drive in is the immense wall! Such an awesome sight. There are 2 marked walks that you can do, a long and short. The short one takes you to the top of the wall to show you an awesome panaromic view of the area. All the way from the bay to morecambe and inland with he rolling hills. The long walk takes you into the woodland. Within the woddlamds there are many trails so quite easy to go off track and then hard to retrace which I discovered. The paths are marked but very tempting to go off track. Some where in there are some prehistoric caves, but sadly I couldn't find them on this initial visit. I don't think they are signposted. Lovely lovely place. There are some cows that roam about so just to be aware.
