Great place to bring the family for a few hours. Massive amount of space for walking, riding and even having a picnic.
There's Wooded and open area's as well as the famous 'Pebble Beach' which allows for some net fishing for river shrimp and stickleback to get the youngsters interested in nature.
Will definitely be back but with a picnic next time!!!
Enjoy and remember to take your rubbish with you and scoop that 🐕💩🤢 😉👍🏾📖

I walk here with the dog at least twice a day for around 7 months and I have not got bored of it yet. You have woods, meadows, and nice little beaches for your dog to access the water if it's that way inclined.

What a beautiful place to visit 😊 make sure you bring your camera because there's so much to see. And make sure you give yourself a full day to walk around aylestone meadows Park. The locals are very nice to talk to, if you get lost on your journey I'm sure somebody will help you get back on track

Amazing place for a walk with family. Plenty of space with loads of paths. There isn’t any amenities or shops etc hence I’d highly recommend you come equipped with your own stuff.

Nice place but the plants and everything there is in bug mess!
There is no care about the plants the way that it grow up. No suitable places for searing and some places are direy

A great place to exercise and enjoy nature at the same time. There's also a variety of berries and plums for the person who wants to go foraging. Some people also fish here but I've not seen anyone who caught anything in all of my visits, so it's probably just a nice way to relax. It's a pity a few people have chosen to use this place as their dog's toilet, and don't clean up afterwards. 😏😒

Absolutely stunning nature reserve that is a pleasure to have as part of my walk to work. Well worth a visit for a lazy stroll or a family picnic.

What an amazing adventurous place this is! Highly recommend for when there's good weather.... Some lovely benches and seating areas tucked around the place. The children's play area is quite a walk from the car parks (for the meadows) but is a lovely walk to get to none the less. Lots of bridges to cross over streams and the canal. A few different types of path (grass/gravelled/decked). A very fun day with family! Lots of dog walkers and strollers and all very friendly. Had to stop an ask a lovely couple for directions as the place is big and easy to get muddled up on where to go.... Recommend taking a picture of the Map to refer to if your first time.
