What an amazing place for a family walk. Trail goes through oak woodland and heading to a Whitelady Waterfall which is 28m high. Nice and easy loop trail. Plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately The Devil's Cauldron trail and viewing platform is closed for repairs. Highly recommended.

A beautiful walk with excellent paths and plenty of interesting scenery along the way. Dog & child suitable, with places for children to paddle in the streams. The full walk takes 1.5 to 2.5hrs depending on how quickly you walk and how much you stop. Prices are National Trust prices at £8 an adult. Highly recommended for the gorge walk and waterfall, a great afternoon out.

An amazing place! We arrived about 3pm, and it is as very quiet, we made it to the cafe half way round and back again before it shut! We went there on our honeymoon and it was the perfect romantic place to spend some time, especially as we went on such a quiet afternoon! It is great for dogs, personally I wouldn't recommend the whole walk for toddlers as it is quiet steep and slippy. Highly recommend!

An excellent place for a bit of walking and hiking. Moderate hiking trails with plenty of waterfalls. Trails and steps are well maintained but be careful of slippery rocks, steps. Hold on the banisters at narrow pathways for your safety. Great place for bird watchers. Two allocated parking places with toilet facilities and snack bars. Dog friendly place. There is a second-hand book shop on site as well.

What a place ...started off with nice people guiding our family on the best route. They got this gauged wonderfully.
Choice of different paths taking you on stunning scenic routes. Amazing photo opportunity, save plenty of camera battery for the actual falls.
100 feet fall is only truly appreciated in person. So clear and fresh with well looked after paths and surroundings.
There were horses and other attractions for the kids to keep the interest flowing, with ice cream and coffee at the top.

I love this place. And would walk there everyday if I lived closer.
The bottom path is amazing to walk along but suitable footwear is recommended as it is very rocky and uneven under foot.
Think this is the first place I've taken the kids to and they haven't moaned about walking because they had so much fun looking out for fish and butterfly.
Staff super friendly too!

Nice little walk and the longer one can be done in 2 hours. Slightly tricky going back from the waterfall entrance but not too difficult. Waterfall is great. Nice at reception with useful guidance. Slightly pricey but definitely recommend as part of NT membership.

Really great walk very pretty. Definitely takes the times stated for walks due to the challenging nature of the single file path in the main gorge. Staff were very helpful. Ice creams half way rounds a must. Book shop was well stocked with some little treasures. My tip start from the waterfall end not the couldron. You need your strength for the first leg.
