I loved this woods. A great place to explore the outdoors with my family and some great autumnal colours and scenes. Wheelchair accessibility is modest but being an outdoor natural space it was relatively clear with wide open pathways.

An old favourite of mine, with or without the Bluebells and Wood Anemones! It is not a large wood, but the network of paths means you can zigzag to extend your walk or cut through to shorten it. It is light and fairly open you can follow the stream in places, take off over fields and follow part of the 1066 Walking Trail. A little over 2 miles takes you around the perimeter.

A popular place to walk, often quite quiet. Can get a little muddy I'm places during winter months. Several places to enter/exit, including a small car park. Fantastic in spring, especially with carpets of bluebells.

One of the gems of East Sussex and of the area around Hastings. Ancient woodland with designated paths but with possibilty of delving deeper into the woods using permissive paths. On my walk I saw swathes of wood Anemones that are out soon it will be the bluebells. Quiet and peaceful. I only saw one other person on my walk.

Nice woods but couldn’t get into the car park due to a 1.95m heigh restriction. Parked blocking the Harley to have a walk around for ten minutes. Would have loved to explore more but didn’t want to risk leaving the car in an awkward position.
