Brede High Woods

Large woodlands with varying scenery and terrain. Contained within these vast woods in the Powdermill Reservoir and the ground of what use to be a large farm with many outbuildings.

There are two free to use car parks located on the northern side of the woods.

Gorgeous woods. Lots of trails. Wear proper walking boots/trainers and be prepared for them to get muddy (in April).

A glorious spring morning with a verdant canopy in places, carpets of wood anenomies and noisy birds everywhere.

Nice woodland with lots of footpaths and wildlife. Popular with dog walkers so unfortunately, mind where you tread! Can also get very muddy in winter, especially the path south of the reservoir.

Great woods with a decent car park. Plenty of space to walk around and explore with an easy trail to follow. Managed to follow down to the reservoir to cook off.

Large woods good for dog walking etc but very muddy paths in winter.
