Lovely quiet area for walks, however many of the boards to the south of Foxhall road require repair and can be slippery underfoot.

A beautiful and hidden little gem of a walking and beauty spot.
Google maps directions didn't actually guide us successfully to one of several entrances to the Reserve. Many of these can easily be missed as they are tucked between houses or parked cars. We asked a nice young man walking his dog and he told us where the nearest entrance to where we had parked could be found.

There were lots of little benches scattered about, in places where you could enjoy the view and relax. There was a lot of bird life to be seen and enjoyed.

The ground is a combination of soil and sand. The steam had plenty of vegetation that was lush and green, with some bright yellow buttercup-type flowers. Some of the oak trees are clearly hundreds of years old! 🌳🌳🌳

The Speedway grounds are at the back of the reserve and it's hard to believe that so much natural beauty is so close to such a periodically busy and very noisy venue!

We encountered other walkers, numerous Dog walkers, and even some cyclists, so it's clearly a local favourite spot.

A small, hidden walk near the stadium. Something to do if you are near.

lots of little paths cutting through a small hilly woods landscape with natural ponds near the speedway race circuit surrounded by housing estates and a private hospital

Quiet picturesque place, much smaller wildlife to always see or hear. The robins are especially friendly chaps

Great local place to relax. Fortunately I live very close. Occasionally you can spot deer.
