Eastern Road Nature Reserve

Muddy but enjoyable walk this morning listening to the woodpeckers with my dog.

Great walk, but a little bit overgrown on some of the paths this time of year.

Great place to walk the dog or kids but at the moment very muddy. Car park which is free.

Great for dog walking and a ramble with friends. Nice place to be. Could do with more seats.

Lovely walk with the kids. They loved the nature. People were walking their dogs too.

Surprisingly interesting little place to explore. And a few different ways in and out.

This is a small nature reserve at the.end of Eastern Road. There's a free car park for around five or six cars. Plenty of paths to explore in the reserve with a stream down one side. The other side of the reserve is an old farm track and open fields out to East Mascalls. The reserve is a favourite for local dog walkers.

Lovely tranquil place to visit work trees and streams, but watch out, there is a lot of old broken glass around because the site is reclaimed land.
