Wonderful, tranquil, lots of beautiful birds to see, and some amazing walks, the lighthouse is a must visit but be aware there are over 400 steps down to it and the 400+steps were harder on the way back up,oh deep joy!there is a lovely cafe and 50yds away there is a lookout building for viewing the birds.
A great day!

Although the lighthouse was closed, it was worth taking the 375 odd steps down till the bridge. The view was breathtaking. It was divinely peaceful to sit and watch the silent sea and the sunset. There's a cafe near by to rejuvenate yourself. Must visit place in Holyhead.

Hubby and kids walked the steps to the lighthouse and said it was amazing while Mum and me stayed at the cafe. We sat outside and admired the views as they were absolutely fantastic. There are puffins nesting on the cliff which you can see when you walk to the lighthouse. The lighthouse is well worth a visit if you are mobile. Highly recommended a visit if only for the views from the cafe.

We were lucky enough to visit on an absolutely stunning day. The staff were informative and very welcoming as well. The walk to the lighthouse is staggeringly beautiful, some of the prettiest visas I've ever seen. The wait time for the tower tour can be a little lengthy, but the epic scenery more than makes up for it, and makes a perfect place to stop and rest before you ascend the tower!

Amazing views. Lucky that the sun came out just at the right time. Free parking after 5pm, but only £2 for an hour if you get there before that. You'll need longer if you want to walk down to the lighthouse. The steps looked steep and the patch narrow, not for the feint heart but we can't really say as we were too late to try and the pathway closed.

Stunning views and lovely area to walk. Enjoyed the trek up Holyhead Mountain. I found the trails could have been marked better but personally didn't find it a problem to explore where all the paths led.

An Amazing and place with magical views! that lighthouse itself alone is gorgeous and quite old historical landmark. plus there is a a nice restaurant on the cliff where you can eat outside and chill with your families or eat inside of it. there is public restrooms, and in overall question a beautiful scenery and environment to look around from the cliffs at the sea and and walk by the cliffs at the nature. highly recommending this place! i've seen quite a variety of lighthouses in UK, but this is special one!

Stunning views of the lighthouse and surrounding coast. Lots of steps here to navigate but nothing too difficult. There are plenty of places to stop and rest on the way down/up. It's worth paying the money to visit the lighthouse where you can get more spectacular views. The on-site cafe is also nice. Good place to get a slice of cake after walking all those steps.
