Stunning place for a walk. Dogs absolutely love it. The beach is wonderful too. Easy to get lost in early spring as many paths are waterlogged but I enjoyed exploring off the paths and eventually getting back to the car park.

Cracking place. Parking get this, it's free! Facilities are great. Plenty to walk around, better to go when it is dry and thing can get muddy. Fantastic for dogs. There are a billion trillion paths through the dunes you can get lost but not so lost you need to pull the pin on that Brietling watch and summon your own personal helicopter 👍

Stunning place for a walk and nature watching. I linked this with a big loop, parking up there and walking to rest bay and back around. Total loop was around 6 miles

Our fav place to go dog walking , quick dip to the sea or just sit and watch the sunset. Its a nature reserve , so lots of birds around and really quiet during the week. Weekends get busy, so tend to avoid, as we live local.

Lovely walk around here, car parking could be a problem at busier times but a steady flow of people leaving. You pay at the parking machine as you leave, seen some fungi, berries, lovely birds. Quite local so we will return.

We traveled to photograph the Red-backed shrike. There was much less dog mess this time which was a bonus. We paid a parking charge this time, which is a new system. We were lucky to notice the fact we needed to pay as we didn't the last time we were there. It's a large reserve with mainly sand paths. It has nice scenery with nice views.

Stunning beach and sanddune wanders. Great little coffee shed at the carpark (do lovely dog treats too).
So many different roots, to the castle, lake, beach, car park could be packed and you'd likely not meet anyone on your route.
Beach is great for dogs, there is livestock on the coast path but its well signposted and gated. Great place all year round

Lovely place to visit. There's a sign post with a few selected, marked walks, from 30 mins to 3 hours .
Great access to the beach ⛱️ just make sure your dog is well behaved as there are sheep roaming around
Nice coffee for when you've finished by the vendor there.
Plenty of parking and free when we visited.
