Being the old trackbed of the branch line it's pretty flat so good for those who have difficulty with gradients. Nice views to the north and to the west to the Orme and inland to Snowdonia. Cafe in the old goods shed looks good for a refuel.

Fantastic walk especially with a dog! Great if you don't want to get grubby as it's all tarmacked. Lots and lots of dog walkers some weren't too keen on having loose dogs so kept mine on a lead most of the way. Very friendly people on the route too. It has a gradual gradient all the way so walking back up doesn't feel too tiring. Fantastic views and you can see the sea 😍 There's a great cafe about halfway as well.

It's a nice walk, plain and simple; also good for a cycle or a jog.

If you're interested in history, stop off at the quarry site that used to be the location of Dyserth Castle - it's a surprisingly atmospheric place to be.

If you're hoping to park in the car park, bare in mind that it's quite small - about 10 spaces at most. I think we've taken the last spot every time we've visited; so I recommend planning a back-up place to park ahead of time, just in case.
