We spent a lot of time here this year. Fantastic views from the top of the mountain. The bluebells are a spectacular sight of you go at the right time . Great walk for all the family. Our 4 and 7 year old walk the trails with no issues.

Goid parking and a huge area to explore. Take wellies if it's been raining.

Worth a visit if you are in the area. There's a small car park with no height restriction barrier. If you use Google Maps to get there it may try to make you drive through a graveyard. Best get directions to the Baily Arms pub and then turn up Cendl Terrace.

Beautiful quiet spot. Really pretty stream running through. Walked around for about an hour and a half with my wife and our cocker. Quite hilly terrain so not for the faint hearted.

Well, I have actually worked with the Gwent Wildlife Trust up at Silent valley!.. It is the highest Beechwood Forest in Europe, And a great place to see some of the UK's Wildlife(There is also goats and sheep that belongs to the trust there)It's a great place for a little bird watching to(With a few a few birdwatching hides at various spots)!..👌

Amazingly quiet with beautiful views. Hilly and muddy in places. The trails are not well sign posted currently and replacement arrows/signs are needed in places but relatively easy to work out.

A lovely, scenic place to visit even in the rain. I would advise wearing good walking boots and using walking poles

Entrance was I but hard to find via sat nav as it took me to the cemetery. Eventually found the signs to the car park. Nice small valley walk.
