Imagine you have picked up a book which describes a local corner shop where the owners are young and trying to bring a community spirit to their store. At 6 am or 8pm, and every moment in between, there is always a friendly greeting and smile. Well, The Paper Shop in Mountsorrel is that shop.

Always good service and friendly staff also good if you want Hermes parcels delivering

We were out when DPD tried to deliver a parcel so they took it to our nearest collection point, The Paper Shop. They refused to take it claiming it was too big and they didn't have room. The parcel was approx 30cm square. Due to this the parcel was returned to sender. Upon querying why they refused to take it the guy in the shop hid behind the till and refused to communicate. This is not good service and has meant we have had to arrange to have it sent again.

Great little shop prices very good, some nice deals

The owner is lovely.
I only wanted a bottle of water and he was ok to pay on card when I know this cost impacts on small retailers.
All the drinks were really cold.
Great selection of wine and spirits at good prices and loads of crisps at great prices.

Lovely family-run business with an amazing wide range of stock for the size of premises. Friendly service with a genuine smile. Highly recommended.
