Got searched because I had a hand in my pocket. 0 stars if possible.

Fancied a beer after work. I looked at the length of the social distancing queue outside of the local CoOp and Googled "off licences near me". Was pleasantly surprised to discover that Samways sell alcohol ( the store sign makes no mention of it).

I was in and out in 2 minutes. Limited but reasonable lager selection. Friendly staff.

Always found Samways to be friendly and helpful. An efficient little post office that also sells beer!

If Samways don't sell it then it probably isn't worth buying!

I have visited Samways multiple times, mainly to use their post office services. Whilst the range of goods they have is good, I have repeatedly been surprised by the level of rudeness and unfriendliness of one staff member in particular. Sadly, despite wanting to support independent businesses I shall be taking my custom elsewhere going forwards.
