Went for a deep state night, melodic house and trance music. The club is a great venue, cool rooms and staff friendly enough. Anjuna/Deep state crowds are always the best so no issues there. They have a shot girl walking around which was weird and reminded me of student night.

Loses 2 stars for the sound system in the main room. One of the worst I've heard. Way to bass heavy, and you cannot hear any of the melodies or melodic rhythms in any of the music, I'd avoid for any deep house or melodic house nights such as Anjuna, as the sound system does not do the music justice.

Sound system in the second room is better.

Rude security, 5.2 girl with long braids. Rushing an 80 year old women to leave with no coat on, was so disrespectful! don’t choose to work in that environment if you can’t hack it. Attitude girl

I went to this venue for the England vs USA match last Friday, expecting a good time. However this most definitely wasn’t the case. Not only were the speakers far too loud (I had to put my fingers in my ears to stop it hurting at points), but I was also double charged for a £70 order for a bucket that I shared with friends. I have emailed and unsurprisingly I have had no response. Shocking experience all round.

The space itself it great for parties, it’s big enough, it’s tall and it feels airy. Nice people working there.. but the prices- absolutely ridiculous. 12.5 for a mixer.. high price even for the london clubbing scene ..

Visited the Steel Yard for an event and was a great location. Only downfall was wifi access as this was limited within the venue.

Drum and Bass event, the sound was terrible, all you hear is bass and vibrations, no melody or lyrics at all. Also very loud, earplugs are a must.

£6.5 for 1 whiskey shot as well.

Attended the steel yard for a bongos bingo night which was a lot of fun 🙌🏻🥰 the venue itself seemed pretty cool and enjoyed the notable features to show off its old uses! The room was pretty large length wise but narrow - the staff seemed nice, the only downside were the toilets, the queues were large and I think unisex toilets would help aid that issue during the breaks of shows
Otherwise a fabulous evening!!

I had probably a different experience to most when visiting. I went when there was a train strike on, and basically the place was at 50% capacity I reckon, so I was able to go to the bar and get served straight away, not queue for toilets, and have lots of space whilst dancing. The sound system here is OK, it's not great. There was a space outside to get some fresh air or smoke. Full bag search upon entry, male cubicles cannot be locked but there are quite a few of them. Was 25 quid to get in and closed at 3am. I had a great time, but if it was packed it might have been a different story!
