Bar So

A lively place but of the rough and ready kind. Music so so with faux blue haze throughout. Very 80s but not in a good way.

This bar comes up on google as an Under 18s bar. Having seen this me and my boyfriend spent our Saturday night at BarSo having being let in without a second glance at the door (as we thought seeing as as far as we knew it was an under 18 bar). We stayed until the bar closed at 4am and spent a lot of money on drinks etc.

I walked down to the bar today (Tuesday) to be turned away at the door after being told it’s not an under 18s bar and that you must be 18 to get in, despite it showing as under 18s on google. I explained that I had walked miles to get there tonight and that me and my boyfriend had been allowed on the Saturday before! Very disgusted at the organisation of the place and the fact that there is incorrect info about the bar online! Should get themselves together! Love how no one said anything when we was throwing are money at them all of saturday night! Unbelievable!

Had a night here with friends, never again the dance floor very slippery, couldn’t even dance sliding everywhere in heels.
Bad move going in there.
Health and safety issue.

One of my favourite old places to drink. still go there on the alt nights occasionally

Great place for a staff party, cheap drinks and good music

It was a great atmosphere for me and my friend, we had lots of drinks

Went there last night and they refused me for no reason, I have been out to many places and never been treated the way I got treated there, never going again

Absolute mess of a place. Went here for a fun time out but had my Government ID forcefully taken away from me whilst my friend was physically abused and kicked in the back by a bouncer on to the street. Unfortunately did not get the name of the bouncer who abused my friend so couldn't file a police report. Its sad to think that this could've been a hate crime but some of the comments the bouncers were making to each other proved that it may have been.
