I'm always impressed by the amount of activities my children have done. In addition to weekly music and football lessons, the children learn about different cultures and their celebrations. They do arts and crafts and cooking on a regular basis.
My children eat a nutritious diet there which is especially impressive as my oldest can be quite fussy at home.
Communication is excellent: if one of my children has had a little bump, I know I will be told and get to know what they eat and how much, how long they sleep and there are regular observations with photographs of the excellent activities they get to do.
I have been meaning to write this review for a while now and then saw that someone has left a one star review because of a phone call! I knew I had to let prospective parents know that my experience is of a very well-run chain of nurseries (my daughter has been at two) where my kids are happy, safe and I (as a teacher) am so impressed with the academic progress my children are making there too in terms of their experience of the world and the development of their language and their confidence.
Thank you Footsteps!
Physically the space is good, with three rooms and a big outdoor area for the kids to run around.
Each week they learn something new based on the season, events or themes. Some of the recent activities include;
Hot Air Balloon making
Car wash
Fruit Salad making
Fruit tasting / texture descriptions
Colour mixing with foam
Doctors Surgery
Hair Dressers
Eid celebration
Train boxes
Sweeping into shapes
Independence day
I could go on!
Staff are all great, have a good relationship with the kids and really do care for them. We've also met lots of other parents and the kids have made loads of friends too. Keep up the good work team!
