Little Chimps Day Nursery - Wimblebury

Little Chimps Day Nursery have been a stable yet flexible nursery for all our 3 children. We feel that staff at Little Chimps really care about each and every child they look after and this is what makes the nursery so special.

The nursery staff are very friendly and take their role in a child’s life and development extremely seriously. This is reflected in the children’s behavioral and cognitive development – by the time they start school they are well prepared often exceeding expectations at the school for their age group.

Our children have and still are very happy to attend and they all speak very fondly of the staff and their key workers.

The nursery is rather flexible to parents’ requirements and communication to parents is unquestionable. We are always well informed of our children’s behaviour and development. The children are given a diary which is completed on a weekly basis and sent home upon collection of the child. This ensures that parents are kept well informed of the activities at nursery, the social interaction of their little ones and any progress they have made in their development.

I can highly recommend the nursery and the channels of communication are always open regardless of how insignificant an issue may appear to be.

The nursery offers trips and events at key times throughout the year and even have a graduation ceremony when the child is moving onto a school. Key dates are given out in advance in a quarterly newsletter. They also offer a wraparound club (collection to and from school) for school children.

Our 3 children love going to nursery, even when the older 2 have to attend when the school is closed.

The nursery has 2 sites offering care to children from birth to 8 years old – one site is in Wimblebury (with a fantastic outdoor space) and the other one is in Hednesford - both properties are well equipped with everything a child needs.

The staff here are so friendly and caring, cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of my little boy! He settled in quickly but on days he went in upset they sent me pictures to show he was happy and playing after I'd gone. The activities he took part in were varied and exciting and he loved going to nursery each day.

Great indoors and outdoors. Very kind staff and lots of activities for the kids. Definitely recommend!
