South Lee School & Nursery

I couldn’t recommend South Lee school highly enough. All the staff from admin through to the passionate teachers are friendly, approachable and genuinely want the best for all the children. The motto of the school is ‘All have talent’ and this really is the centre of the ethos of the school. The range of subjects available at South Lee is second to none with numerous specialist subject teachers passing on their enthusiasm and passion for learning on a regular basis. This gives the children, at such an early age, the chance to find a subject that they really enjoy and can fly with. We are so fortunate and thankful that our children are able to attend this amazing school.

Our son has been at South Lee since he was 3. He has loved every minute of it. The school has a lovely nurturing feel about it and the children are so well cared for. The education we are receiving is of the highest quality. The children are kind and polite and there is a lovely mentoring scheme in place. I would not hesitate to recommend South Lee.

We are very grateful for the fantastic and well rounded education provided to our children at South Lee. All members of staff go out of their way to get to know the pupils on an individual basis and find out what best suits their learning styles and personality. Each individual’s strengths are celebrated and everyone is given a chance to shine. There is a genuine family friendly feel to the school of which we are glad to be a part.

South Lee is a wonderful school. The children are well cared for & educated to a very high standard, most children in year 8 get scholarships. It is a small nurturing school which allows them to give the children a huge amount of individual attention. They also excel at sports regularly beating much larger local schools. The staff are passionate & inspiring & have a great rapport with the children. There isn’t a certain ‘type’ at South Lee, all children are celebrated for who they are. The year groups all mix together, it really is like one big happy family!

Both our children are at South Lee in the Pre-Prep and Nursery respectively, and we are delighted with the School. The staff are excellent and the spirit very friendly. Our children have made good friends and are making good progress both socially and academically. Would highly recommend.

Both my children had wonderful experiences in South Lee Nursery, the staff are kind , caring, fun and really do know the children. The school has a family feel and staff know all the children, the atmosphere is a happy one.
I would without a doubt recommend the Nursery and school.

Absolutely fantastic school and nursery! We visited a few schools before South Lee and I always left feeling underwhelmed and then just assumed my expectations were too high. But then I found South Lee and not only were my expectations met they were exceeded! It is a school that although knows the importance of academics, not all of the emphasis is on that. It’s about the children as individuals, teaching them in a way each one responds to and they focus on growing human beings not just scholars. I am so impressed with the school and my child loves going everyday. If you are debating where to send your child just go visit the school you’ll know what I’m talking about within minutes!

I love this School. The staff and pupils are all so caring of each other and the children are challenged to try their best in everything - from academics to sport and drama. South Lee has given my 3 children the best start in life.
